How to: Put a frame around a graphic in Word.
Solution:
From the Page Layout view and select the graphic. Select the 'Insert' menu and select 'Frame'. Drag the pointer to create a frame.
NOTE: This view displays framed items in their correct location.
To insert a frame around a graphic:
1) Select the 'View' menu and select 'Page Layout'. (The document converts to 'Page Layout' view.)
2) Select the desired graphic. (Sizing handles appear around the graphic.)
3) Select the 'Insert' menu and select 'Frame'. (The mouse pointer changes to a cross.)
4) Click on the screen, and drag the pointer out into a box, to frame the graphic.
5) Release the mouse button when finished adjusting the frame around the graphic.
